Well, two more days gone. I've heard that we have filmed about 13 minutes of the script so far... some random trivia there. Yesterday, we finished up the Berlin section of the film, and today, out to the woods! Where most of us huddled under tents or froze our asses of in the rain for the first few hours. (And yes, I still love my job.) Everyone seemed to lighten up a bit more today, cast and crew alike. Even our DoP smiled a few times! (-; It must be the fresh air, because even the rain couldn't get people down today. I might have an outtake clip for you all a bit later!
Lots of pics from the last two days, so have a look... and there's a bonus at the end of this blog.
Heh heh!
Finally! Our mystery actor in the film. This is Maverick (playing Takahashi), doing his green screen presentation.
Now THIS is what you call a detailed operation.
I just really like this photo, so I'm putting it up. I'm sitting as an eyeline for Keith during his close-up.
Crap weather, just crap. Freezes your bones, makes your teeth chatter, and fogs up your glasses (as demonstrated by Nilo here).
Damn, do we look professional or what? Big budget movies ain't got nuthin' on us. Huh...
Woohoo! Sebastian smiling at the monitor is always a good sign.
"Reset for shooting!" "Reset for shooting!" "Reset for shooting!" and so on. You get the picture.
A great shot of Keith while filming.
Ah, final scene of the day!
Even better, final take of the final scene of the day. Let's all go home and sleep!
And, as promised....(drum roll)....
The first pics of all the severed heads were sent to me last night by Fabian, our Production Manager. They are not finished yet, but here is the general idea.
And don't they look tasty?
Ugh.
And I'm off to dreamland, to wake tomorrow and....
wait for it.....
do our first death scene! Yes!
'Night now.
