A Little Somethin' Different...

Something completely non-"Headhunter"-related:

Let's start at the beginning. I belong to a Congolese dance company in New York, Fushadance Company, and Funmi, our director, introduced me to an artist and filmmaker named Sena (actually, she is from Germany, now that I think of it...). Sena needed some dancers for a really interesting video project being filmed on Coney Island, I loved the concept, she liked my dancing, it was a match!

So, the weekend before coming to Germany, that is what I did. Sena created some amazing tribal costumes for all of us, and hired Lazarus, my new favorite make-up man, to do our faces. Live drummers, cool people to hang with all day, going on the Coney Island rides during our break...it was a big party!

Sena was nice enough to send me a couple of pics from the shoot, so here I am. A little bit different.
